Differentiating among original and aftermarket parts is not a difficult task since original parts have original car manufacturer’s logo whereas aftermarket parts come with different company logo. However, in terms of design and specifications both has same dimension that fits properly with adjacent parts of your vehicle. Also you can identify the difference between original and aftermarket parts by their price tag as aftermarket are less costly than originals.

Genuine Toyota parts will have a part number on it that you can order at any Toyota dealer. Most companies selling the part will state it as "genuine" Toyota parts. When in doubt buy from the Toyota dealer.
